Very rare vintage Bölgeblick model 4052 green glass tumbler by Karhula. Designed by Aino Aalto, Finland 1930s. In very good vintage condition with bubbles. Minor defects on a single tumbler with two small chips along the bottom rim (please see photos).

Aino Aalto (1894-1949) was a Finnish designer known for her work in glassware and architecture. She is most famous for her glassware collection with Iittala, which was originally named Bölgeblick. Her designs emphasised simplicity, functionality and a focus on natural materials. She collaborated closely with her husband, Alvar Aalto, in shaping modern Finnish design.
