Rare vintage Rörstrand light brown stoneware double teapot. Bottom jug is for hot water, which helps keep tea in the teapot above warm. Designed by Gunnar Nylund, Sweden 1940s-50s. In excellent vintage condition, underside marked "R (three crowns) Sweden GN".

Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Swedish ceramic designer known for his work at Rörstrand, where he served as artistic director from 1931 to 1955. Before this, he worked in Denmark at Bing & Grøndahl and co-founded the Saxbo ceramic workshop in 1930. Nylund gained recognition for his use of innovative processes, such as matte feldspar glaze stoneware in hare's fur and crystal glazes, as well as his stoneware animal sculptures.
