Very rare vintage model 1609 clear glass pitcher with four Kimara grey glass tumblers. This pitcher is an early model with slightly tapering sides. Designed by Kaj Franck, Finland 1950s. In very good vintage condition.

Kaj Franck (1911-1989) was a Finnish designer known for his minimalist and functional approach to industrial design. He designed both ceramics and glass and his best-known works are the Teema dinnerware and Kartio glassware series, now produced by Iittala. Franck believed in simple and practical designs that were accessible to everyone, and his work remains a key influence in Finnish design.
