Vintage Nuutajärvi Prisma glass on rare Arabia Finland Kilta black special plate. Choice of lowball or highball glass. Designed by Kaj Franck, Finland 1950s-60s. In good vintage condition with signs of use. Please note that vintage Kilta often have glaze imperfections.

Dimensions: Glass diameter 7.5 cm, height 6.5 cm/9 cm. Plate diameter 13.5 cm.

Kaj Franck (1911-1989) was a Finnish designer known for his minimalist and functional approach to industrial design. He designed both ceramics and glass and his best-known works are the Teema dinnerware and Kartio glassware series, now produced by Iittala. Franck believed in simple and practical designs that were accessible to everyone, and his work remains a key influence in Finnish design.
